The installation consists of pomegranates in various shades of red, with only one rendered in detail and appearing realistic. The rest merely depict the shape of the fruit, alluding to the image of either a drop of blood or a stone. The different shades of red symbolize blood and its property of changing color over time.
This installation is the author’s reflection on the events of October 7th in Israel. Through the image of pomegranate, one of the symbols of the Jewish autumn holidays, the artist, drawing the chain of associations, reflects on her attitude to what happened. The author uses an allision to the word of King Solomon There is a time to scatter stones, and there is a time to gather stones and reflects on the importance of time in understanding events.
